LOWEST WEIGHT , BEST RESPONSE , STRONGEST BUILD

The Brushed Carbon Sandwich technology we pioneered in SUP 10 years ago has been gradually improved year by year. Winning 7 out of 8 Gold medals in the ISA SUP Surf Worlds over the last 4 years may indicate the Innovation Quality obtained. Now the new 2024 Blue Carbon boards have achieved a level of performance and sustainability unpreceded in our industry. It’s the first ever Gold level ECO SUP board and our World Champions swear by them with their class act performance. The only black carbon remaining is a UD 80 strip in the rail area with the highest overall total failure potential, continuing our Zero breakage voyage by utilizing other better suited materials where basic impact resistance is vital.

    KEY FEATURES

    NATURAL UD FLAX RAIL

Natural European uni-directional flax fiber wraps the entire rails for maximum hull strength against total breakage.

    Scratch and ding protection

    RIGID STANDING AREA

    SUSTAINABLY SOURCED PINE

A standing area of 0.6mm Australian Pine is added for extra deck impact resistance and rigidity.

    MULTIPLE REINFORCEMENTS

A combination of different fiberglass densities wrap the entire hull for high strength and durability.

    T-STRINGERS REINFORCEMENT

3 x Glass T-stringers from the mid point forwards significantly increases strength against total breakage (Available only on all boards below 10ft.)

    FULL AUSTRALIAN PINE DECK

    REPLACING PU PAINT

Starlite now uses a custom engineered water-based dye and resin swirl optic to reduce PU paint, reduces paint chips and provides a custom look for each board.

    EPS CORE – 15 KG/M³ DENSITY

Shear resistant, fused and moulded individually to fit each and every Starboard board providing high strength at the lightest weight. Our moulded core technology produces zero EPS wastage.

    RECYCLED EVA DECK PAD

We are shifting toward recycled EVA deck pads from post industrial EVA waste, increasing UV protection & reducing the use of petroleum.
