The 10'2 x 29" is a progressive, versatile shape sporting a big bottom concave and boxy rails for unmatched speed and and glide potential.

    • Amazing glide is created by the deep wide middle channel which formsa flatter faster bottom middle curve.

    • Benchmark stability from the concave catamaran style hull enables one to ride a board 2 inch less wide than normal, increasing the glide.

    • Great turnability provided by the wide tail platform which makes it easy to step back.

10’2”x29”: The light weight and shorter length offers easier maneuverability and fast turning. Narrow width improves tracking from being able to hold the paddle straighter in the water. For riders up to 95kg.

Designed to offer the best experience on flat-water and light wind chop.

Performance: Extra stable and smooth glide makes paddling simple for the ultimate first time SUP experience. Starlite technologies are strong, lightweight and durable. The new Tikhine Go line is an irresistible choice, bringing together exciting performance and timeless style.

    Minimal weight feels great

The Tikihine boards are amazing Flat water hulls that do not need all the structural integrity of an allround board. We have minimised excess glass from the bottom and deck, saving almost 1 kg relative to a normal Starshot board.

    • A 15kg/m3 precision molded fused cell core replicates the exact shape, offers high strength at the lightest weight and has impressive water repulsion.
    • Multiple layers of high-grade fiberglass are wetted out in epoxy resin, while a standing area of 0.6mm uni-directional Australian Pine wood layer is added for extra deck impact resistance and rigidity.
    • All inserts have added reinforcements.
    • 3⁄4 deck pads with crocodile skin texture and new IQ handle for easy carrying.
    • Full gloss rails and deck give a high-grade finish.
    • Our boards are all precision molded and the compression during molding ensures an extra hard and strong outer surface.
    • All Starshot models equipped with a protective rail saver tape to minimize paddle scratches.
    • 50% recycled EVA deck pads from post industrial waste.
    • 33% less paint sprayed on the deck, rail and bottom of the board.

    Ocean inspired art

Our team riders don’t just help shape our boards – when it comes to Sonni Hönscheid’s Tikhine line, she helps design the look, too – bringing her own original, ocean-inspired artwork to a board that anyone can ride.

“ Painting is like writing a diary for me about all my experiences, journeys discovering exotic places & different cultures around the world. That ́s how I found my very own style. A technique with special acrylic pens allows me to bring my impressions of the stunning nature of Hawaii, the animating rough north sea of Sylt or the sand desert of Fuerteventura onto canvas. My paintings often tell a story. The viewer on a closer look always discovers new context in the flowing lines.

As an high performance athlete doing SUP races I always want to be the fastest, in the art I find the peace, take my time... For me it ́s the perfect balance.

The “Tikihine” is the result of an amazing collaboration with Starboard, being able to combine my two biggest passions presenting my art on the best boards.“

    - Sonni Hönscheid
