Placing first in the womens and fifth overall, Starboard International Team Rider Annabel also won the indoor sprint racing at the
Naish SUP Tour Paris Crossing on December 4th, 2010.
The 10km race across the Seine River took place in the heart of Paris during the Paris Boat Show on Saturday 4 December 2010, with participants wearing GPS trackers and followed live online.
"It was a very very very coold event," says Annabel from Paris.
"The most amazing thing was seeing Stephen McDonald (a skiing buddy)
yelling 'kiwi kiwi kiwi' from one of the bridges - I knew he was in
Paris for a couple of days........it really got me through the hard bit
in the middle which was full of wave reflect & cross chop! Then I
really made some ground on the boys!"
Watch out for Annabel at our SUP clinics and races in January/February... she's in hot demand as a SUP trainer all over the world!
