Jo Aleh
Jo, like many other Olympic sailors, came to stand up paddling for cross training and stayed for
the competition. She won gold at London 2012 with crew Polly Powrie (another regular in the NZ
SUP community) in the 470.
Favourite Board: Allstar because you can use it anywhere!
My favourite place to paddle is anywhere in the world that I happen to be, that's the beauty of it, as
long as I have my board I can explore new places and see some different sights. Especially Lake
Garda in Italy, Rio de Janeiro and Tel Aviv.
